SunPower Shed

About SunPower Shed

Engineers First. Installers Always.

We are a solar engineering and installation company built around one idea: a system should be designed for the property it sits on and supported for as long as it produces power.

Our story

Why We Started SunPower Shed

Before SunPower Shed existed, our founding engineers spent years fixing other people’s solar systems. We saw panels bolted onto roofs that could not carry them, undersized cables running hot inside walls, inverters mounted in direct sun, and proposals promising output the roof could never deliver.

Owners had paid for clean energy and received a maintenance problem instead. We decided to build the kind of company we would want to hire ourselves: one that measures before it sells, explains every component in plain language, and treats the installation day as the beginning of the relationship rather than the end.

That approach has shaped everything we do — from the way we survey roofs to the way we label every breaker in the distribution board so the next technician knows exactly what they are looking at.

“A solar system is a twenty-five-year promise. We design it like one.”

How we work

Four Principles Behind Every Project

These are not slogans on a wall. They are the checkpoints our project managers use to decide whether a job is ready to move to the next stage.

01

Measure before we quote

Every proposal is based on a physical site survey: roof condition, structure, orientation, shade, cable routes and your actual consumption pattern.

02

Specify for the climate

Heat, humidity, dust and heavy seasonal rain are design inputs, not afterthoughts. We choose components, enclosures and mounting accordingly.

03

Install to a written standard

Torque values, cable management, earthing and labelling follow a documented checklist that is signed off on every job.

04

Stay accountable

Monitoring, maintenance and a named contact mean you are never left wondering who to call when something changes.

Our people

Certified Crews, Not Subcontracted Strangers

Our installation teams are employed and trained by SunPower Shed. Each crew is led by a supervisor with electrical qualifications and includes technicians trained in working at height, DC safety and first aid.

Because the same people design, install and maintain your system, knowledge does not get lost between departments. The engineer who drew your layout is the person who signs off the commissioning report.

Standards we follow

Quality You Can Check on Paper

Ask us for the datasheets, certificates and test results for anything we install. We keep them on file for every project.

IEC 61215 / 61730

Panels certified for design qualification and safety under international test standards.

IEC 62446 Commissioning

Testing, documentation and handover records aligned with the grid-connected PV standard.

Protection by Design

Surge protection, earthing and correctly rated DC/AC breakers on every installation.

Responsible Disposal

Old panels, batteries and packaging returned through proper recycling channels.
