Services / Battery storage
Hybrid inverters and lithium battery storage that keep essential circuits running during outages and let you use more of the solar energy you generate.
How hybrid storage works
A hybrid system combines solar panels, a hybrid inverter and a battery bank. The inverter decides, many times per second, where energy should flow — into your loads, into the battery, or to and from the grid.
1
Panels power your home or business directly. Surplus energy charges the battery instead of being wasted.
2
After sunset the battery supplies lights, fans, routers and other essential loads before drawing from the grid.
3
If the grid fails, the inverter isolates your backup circuits and switches to battery power within milliseconds.
Choosing a battery
Batteries are the most expensive part of a hybrid system, so the right choice matters. Here is how the two most common options compare in day-to-day use.
Our recommendation
The chemistry we install by default. Stable, safe and long-lasting, with deep usable capacity and almost no maintenance.
Budget option
Lower upfront cost and widely available, but heavier, shorter-lived and best kept at shallow discharge levels.
When the grid goes down
We help you choose a backup circuit around what matters most — lighting, fans, refrigeration, routers, security systems, medical devices or office servers — and size the battery for the hours you need.
